We aim to provide friendly, caring hospitality in a comfortable setting. A restful night's sleep, enjoyable, healthy food, and good company are what we offer. We like guests to feel part of the family while they stay with us. That is what a "homestay" means to us.

Our sunny home is in a quiet, leafy suburb of Manukau City in South Auckland. We have three large bedrooms with comfortable beds. To read about the rooms that are available, click here. To see the other services and facilities we provide, click here.

Hillpark Homestay

Location is important for visitors seeking a bed and breakfast in Auckland, since the city, of which Manukau is a part, extends over a huge area. Hillpark Homestay is well-positioned for travellers arriving in or departing from New Zealand. Many guests stay with us because we are just 15 minutes from the Airport. As Hillpark Homestay is just a couple of streets from the Motorway, it is a handy stopover for tourists heading north or south of Auckland. It is also conveniently situated for reaching the numerous public facilities and attractions of Manukau and the greater Auckland region. Click here for the Location page which contains maps, major routes and the attractions and facilities nearest our home.

As a destination, Manukau has an amazing array of cultural sites, scenic attractions, beautiful beaches, country trails, bush walks, retail outlets and entertainment attractions. On the Attractions page, click here, is a list of South Auckland attractions and public facilities with links to their websites, where these exist. Three of these - the Auckland Regional Botanic Gardens, the TelstraClear Pacific Events Centre, and the Manukau Superclinic and Surgery Centres - are less than two kilometers away.

Our children have left home and are happily married, but we have a friendly Tonkinese cat called See-Nuan. She enjoys meeting guests too.

For the first-time visitor to Auckland, Hillpark Homestay is an ideal place to stay. Offering a warm and friendly atmosphere, your hosts, Graham and Katrine, love sharing their knowledge of local attractions and services, or just chatting about travel experiences and special interests.
